Kevin is an incredible teacher. Not only is he artistically talented himself, but he is willing to share his gift with others. Having Mr. Goss as my art teacher in high school improved my art immensely. He challenged me to try new techniques and use color in more creative ways (ways I didn’t even know you could use color!) When I thought I finished a project, he encouraged me to add more realistic details. These details helped enhance and define my projects. I created my own portfolio under his instruction complete with a description of art techniques, art history and inspiration for each project I completed in class. After taking an art class with Mr. Goss, I became a more confident artist and was equipped with the skills I needed to take my art to the next level. Because of his teaching expertise and encouragement, I create and sell my artwork today.
